Budweiser has been involved in various motorsports racing for many years, including some Ferrari racing sponsorships in the past. They are one of the biggest NASCAR sponsors along with the likes of Home Depot, Coca Cola, McDonalds and many others. They even have their own annual invitational called the Budweiser Shootout at the Daytona International Speedway which has been going since 1979. First NASCAR appearance in 1983 at the Busch Clash Daytona with Terry LaBonte in the #44 Chevrolet.
In 1987, Terry Labonte in the #11 Chevrolet finished 3rd in the overall standings after garning one win, four pole awards and 13 top 5 finishes.
In 1990, Geoff Bodine in the #11 Ford won three victories for Budweiser at the Martinsville Speedway (2 wins) and the Pocono Raceway.
In 1996, Ken Schrader in the #25 Chevrolet earned 3 top-5s and 10 top-10 finishes.
In 1997, the #25 Chevrolet team earned 4 top-5s and 7 top-10s for the Budweiser racing team.
In 2002, Dale Earnhardt Jr. ended up winning both races at Talladega Superspeedway.
In 2003, the Budweiser team garnered 13 top-5s and 21 top-10s.
In 2008, Kasey Kahne joined the Budweiser Racing team in the #9 Dodge.
Budweiser racing jackets tend to reflect red which is one of the colors of Budweiser beer logo. However, there are Budweiser jackets predominantly in black.
