Budweiser has been involved in various motorsports racing for many years, including some Ferrari racing sponsorships in the past. They are one of the biggest NASCAR sponsors along with the likes of Home Depot, Coca Cola, McDonalds and many others. They even have their own annual invitational called the Budweiser Shootout at the Daytona International Speedway which has been going since 1979. As a NASCAR Sprint Cup sponsor, Budweiser has won one championship, 56 race wins, 43 pole awards, 278 top five and 472 top-10 finishes.

First NASCAR appearance in 1983 at the Busch Clash Daytona with Terry LaBonte in the #44 Chevrolet.
In 1987, Terry Labonte in the #11 Chevrolet finished 3rd in the overall standings after garning one win, four pole awards and 13 top 5 finishes.
In 1990, Geoff Bodine in the #11 Ford won three victories for Budweiser at the Martinsville Speedway (2 wins) and the Pocono Raceway.
In 1995, the Budweiser team earned two top-5 finishes and 10 top-10s.
In 1998, the Budweiser team used #50 for the season in honor of NASCAR’s 50th anniversary.
In 2002, Dale Earnhardt Jr. ended up winning both races at Talladega Superspeedway.
In 2006, Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the #8 Chevrolet finished fifth for the overall season with a victory at the Richmond International Raceway, 10 top-5s, and 17 top-10 finishes.
In 2009, Kasey Kahne in the #9 Dodge won at the Infineon Raceway and Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Budweiser racing jackets tend to reflect red which is one of the colors of Budweiser beer logo. However, there are Budweiser jackets predominantly in black.
