Do you miss the days when the Sunbeam Tiger was in action? Or would you want to see the Porsche 944 racing again? Maybe you’re more of a muscle car guy. The Plymouth Barracuda. That car is always a treat. Same with the Shelby GT350 Mustangs. Cars that have been long gone but remain entrenched in our hearts.

Good news is that they’re still around. There are plenty of car lovers who maintain vintage sports cars as treasured collection and race them at the same time. Through the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA), organized races are scheduled for fun, thrill, and pleasure. These races feature fast cars that haven’t come out of production line in many years. Exotic cars such as Alfa Romeo GTV, Aston Martin DB4, and Lotus 23B are often seen side-to-side with other cars from the past like the Datsun 240Z, AC Cobra 427, and other, now vintage, sportscars. It’s definitely worthwhile to wear your vintage racing jacket from your closet to fit in with the crowd.
